Technical Program Manager (HW), New York City

As a Hardware Technical Program Manager, you will drive execution across hardware, supply chain, and operations. This role is perfect for someone with a strong technical background who can work closely with engineering teams to manage schedules, coordinate logistics, and enable the key tasks needed to ship 0-to-1 consumer devices.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain schedules, roadmaps, and milestones for hardware product development
• Track firmware, hardware, and mechanical engineering timelines while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Facilitate communication across teams, including internal and external partners
• Manage supplier relationships and track component availability, lead times, and costs.
• Oversee procurement, BOM tracking, and cost optimizations
• Track inventory and shipping logistics to ensure timely product delivery.
• Support NPI efforts with contract manufacturers, ensuring smooth handoffs from R&D to manufacturing

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, operations, or supply chain management for hardware products
• Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, including DFM, prototyping, and mass production.
• Experience managing schedules and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of supply chain logistics, procurement, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to identify and resolve risks related to component shortages, engineering delays, and manufacturing challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface between engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
